How it works
From ticket to broken ice in four steps
Smesh isn’t a dating app you use anywhere: it only switches on inside the event, with the people who are actually there that night.
Step 1
Find the event
See the “Smesh is here” sign? Scan the venue’s QR code, open the link you were sent, or look for the night in “Find events”.
Step 2
Sign up for free
One tap and you get a free ticket in the app, with a personal QR code that refreshes itself. The first time, you tell us whether you’re single or taken and what you’re looking for tonight.
Step 3
Show your QR at the door
Staff scan your QR code and check an ID to confirm your age. Your ID is never photographed or stored.
Step 4
Break the ice
After check-in, the social side of the event opens up: who’s there, likes, chats, drinks, mini-games and live polls.

Just here to play? Challenge anyone to Tic-tac-toe, Connect 4, Hangman or a Quiz. The winner gets the “prize” set by the challenger.

Your night profile
Photos, bio, interests and what you’re after tonight: only people at the night can see it, and it disappears 24 hours later.
Features marked 18+ are for adults only. 14–17-year-olds use mini-games, polls and announcements only with other minors.
Safety and minors
Have fun, stay safe
Smesh is for ages 14 and up. Adults and minors spend the night in two separate worlds, and age is confirmed by staff at the door, not just by a date typed into the app.
Age checked at the door
Staff visually check an ID at check-in. It’s never photographed or stored: we only record the age group.
Minors in a separate group
14–17-year-olds only see and are seen by other minors at the same event. Adults can’t see or contact them, not even at mixed events.
No likes or private chats for minors
Minors have no likes, drinks, private chats, couple games or purchases. They keep mini-games, polls and venue announcements.
Report and block
You can block or report from any profile or chat. The person you block isn’t told, and from then on you no longer see each other.
Moderation
Our team reviews reports within 24 hours, prioritising minors and safety. Anyone who breaks the guidelines is suspended.
Everything disappears after the night
Your profile is visible only until 24 hours after the event. Likes, chats and games are deleted automatically after 30 days (7 for minors).
Your data, under your control
From the app you can download a copy of your data or delete your account whenever you like. We don’t sell data and there are no third-party ads.
Help when you need it
At the venue, talk to the staff. In an emergency in the EU, call 112. In Italy: 1522 for violence and stalking, 19696 for young people.

Smesh in your venue, all month long.
It isn’t a format to organise: with a monthly subscription Smesh becomes part of your venue. Club, restaurant, bar, pub or beach club: put up the “Smesh is here” sign and every night your customers talk, play and join in, while you manage entries, staff and entertainment from a single app.

We give you a sign with your venue’s QR code for the entrance, the bar or the tables: customers scan it and join the night.
Create the event
Choose the audience: 18+, 14–17 or mixed. Events with minors are published after approval by the Smesh team.
Check-in with your staff
Your team, with staff accounts for your events only, scan the QR code, check the ID and confirm: a green 18+ screen or a MINOR screen, no alcohol.
Live polls and announcements
Launch polls, live games and announcements to everyone there while the night is on: “Happy hour at the bar”, “The DJ set is starting”.
Stats
Sign-ups, 18+ and minor entries, likes, chats started and challenges played: how much ice was broken during the night.

Frequently asked questions
Is Smesh free?
For people who use it, yes: downloading the app and joining nights is free, and there are no third-party ads in the app. Venues get Smesh with a monthly subscription.
Is Smesh a dating app?
No. Smesh is for breaking the ice with the people at the same night out as you: meeting someone, making friends or just playing. It isn’t a type of event: it adds to nights that already exist, at clubs, bars, restaurants, pubs and beach clubs, and it’s used by both singles and people in a relationship.
Can I use it if I’m in a relationship?
Of course. When you sign up you say whether you’re single or taken and what you’re looking for tonight (meeting someone, making friends or just playing), and you can change it any time from your profile. If you’re in a couple, “Discover” shows other couples and people who are there to make friends or play by default; if you want, you can turn on show me singles too. Others see a “Taken” label on your profile.
Can I use Smesh outside an event?
No, and that’s on purpose. Social features unlock only after check-in at the door and only connect people who joined the same event. To find one, look for the “Smesh is here” sign at the venue.
How old do I need to be?
At least 14. 14–17-year-olds are in a separate group: they only see other minors at the same event, adults can’t see or contact them, and they have no likes, drinks, private chats or purchases. Read the privacy notice for 14–17-year-olds (in Italian).
How is age checked?
At the door, venue staff scan your QR code and look at an ID. Your ID is never photographed or stored: we only record whether you’re an adult or a minor, when the check happened and who did it.
Who can see my profile?
Only people who joined the same event and are in your age group, and only until 24 hours after the event ends. Others only see your first name, never your date of birth.
What happens to my data after the night?
Likes, chats, drinks, games and event notifications are deleted automatically 30 days after the event ends (7 days for minors). You can download a copy of your data from the app at any time. Privacy policy (in Italian).
Someone is making me uncomfortable: what do I do?
From their profile or the chat, tap the menu and choose Block or Report. They won’t know who reported them. At the venue, talk to the staff; if you’re in danger, call 112. Community guidelines (in Italian).
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings (the gear at the top of the home screen) → Delete my account. Or email info@partifyapp.com from your account’s email address. Full details (in Italian).
How do I bring Smesh to my venue?
Write to us at info@partifyapp.com. Smesh for venues works with a monthly subscription, priced by type of venue: club, bar, restaurant, pub or beach club. We’ll send you the “Smesh is here” sign with the QR code and show you how to create nights, check guests in with your staff, launch polls and announcements and see your stats.
